OpenRemote
OpenRemote, started in 2015, is a professional 100% open source IoT platform, with its roots in RedHat JBoss. OpenRemote software is used by both device builders and larger installers in Europe and the U.S. as the basis for their own IoT device management platform. They use it in a wide variety of domains including energy management, mobility, security, agriculture and lighting. OpenRemote as a company. was founded to enable the sponsorship of the OpenRemote open source project and provide professional support to larger users. We follow a professional open source methodology. It means that top contributors participate in the project, first as contributors, then as consultants and finally as full-time employees and even co-owners. We believe in people and actively seek a long-term relationship as a partner in Fontys education.
