What does the water board do?
Safety as well as clean and sufficient water is important to everyone. We make sure it doesn't get too wet. Or too dry. This is what the Brabantse Delta water board works on every day with an eye to the future. Our working area has over 800,000 inhabitants, 21 municipalities and some 25,000 companies in Midden- en West-Brabant.
Safe dikes, Water in the ditch, Purifying waste water, Waterways, Climate and sustainability are core issues for the water board.
At Brabantse Delta Water Board, we are committed to innovation, digital tools and information to deal with water, climate and the environment in a smarter and more sustainable way. We believe that technologies, new ideas and cooperation are necessary to tackle the challenges of our time.
In spring 2025, the Brabantse Delta Water Board will carry out their first Proftaak with Semester 6 Infrastructure in Tilburg. They will do this under the guidance of Pim Moerman and René de Ren. Here, they are laying down a complex Enterprise Architecture issue for PLOU Rudy Bouland students.
At the Waterschap Brabantse Delta, you come across all ICT profiles. Technology, DevOps Engineer, Software, you name it. The head office in Breda often has exciting research internships for students.
